Lazy Dog String Band

We’ll be kicking off the Vashon Island Strawberry Festival with a gig at the Vashon Heritage Museum.

The Lazy Dog String Band is a Vashon Island bluegrass and country band formed in 2023. On mandolin we have the incomparable Paul Colwell. On banjo is Barney Munger, a major influencer in PNW bluegrass circles. The rest of the band is filled out by Mark Wells on guitar, Jean Richstad on fiddle, Wilson Abbott on dobro, and Dan Brown on bass.
